Mila collaborated with various commissioning organizations, including the City of Allentown, the Allentown Arts Commission, and the Materials Conservation Collaborative of Philadelphia. The project involved key community stakeholders, including the Public Art Committee, representatives from Pennsylvania Power and Light (PPL), and leaders of minority groups.

Mila was selected for the Gateway Public Art Project, which aimed to create a mural that welcomes both visitors and residents to downtown Allentown, Pennsylvania. The initial mural design underwent three rounds of revisions based on feedback from the Committee of community representatives. Working in this diverse neighborhood brought immense joy to both the community and the artist.

Mila designed and installed four large exterior murals at the downtown entrance. The project received a warm response and praise from residents. After spending four weeks working daily in the neighborhood, Mila is proud to say she has gained a new community to call "her own," and that sentiment is mutual.
