The City of Garland has undergone significant expansion and development over the years. The new and beautiful square addition has revived downtown, while a vibrant mural adds to the ongoing revitalization of the area.

Artist Mila Sketch drew inspiration from the city's history and the strong connection that current residents have to the historic buildings that represent their past. The mural features 20 significant buildings and local landmarks, each playing a crucial role in the city's identity.

During the mural's installation, the artist was deeply moved by the community's warm and positive response.
